Drawing 14,000 tonne of potato from the family properties alone, Bendotti Exporters also harness the resources of local contract
growers and currently export potato seed and raw potato products to Thailand and Malaysia. Bendotti Exporters are also in the process of investigating the Japanese market.
Potato varieties used for processing and exporting include Ranger Russet Mac Russet, Nooksack, Shepody, and Eureka for French fries. Atlantic and Wilstore are exported for crisping.
Bendotti Exporters also provide seed and raw potato product to Australia's eastern states marketplace.
Developing new potato varieties is key to Bendotti Exporters success in the global and domestic marketplace and we are constantly importing, bulking up and trialling new varieties from around the
world to help improve buyer and grower outurns.
